This is a key initiative at Zillow at the center of Zillows effort to change the future of real estate, this team will be responsible for creating innovative solutions to challenging problems, many entirely new for the company but all central to our mission to empower the consumer and transform the real estate industry by building a true marketplace.About the role We're looking for an exceptional Product Manager to help us build the data science and machine learning products that will power the next stage of our growth. Our growing team is chartered with building a dramatically different and better experience for home sellers through Zillow Offers. You will work with a team of highly talented Applied Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to tackle problems across a broad variety of domains. In this role, we need a Product Manager who can help us: Evaluate opportunities and plan research and engineering efforts to maximize impact for our consumers and on the business, through the application of machine learning and data science. Manage project plans, schedule commitments and ensure plans are integrated and aligned, working with product, operations, and marketing teams across Zillow to create the overall organizational and business strategy. Analyze, remove, and prevent roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines and business goals. Who you are Are you an experienced Product Manager with a real passion for building analytics products? Do you love owning products from iteration through delivery? Do you believe that better data and analytics lead to better outcomes? If so you might be an outstanding fit for our team. We'd also love it if: You have working knowledge of concepts from machine learning and data science. You don't need to be able to implement models from scratch, but you can clearly explain concepts like precision and recall or cross validation to non-experts. You're a collaborative team member with a strong focus on execution and results. You have the humility to question assumptions, seek broad input, and validate iteratively. You can take big, nebulous ideas, and hone them into a keen strategic vision. You're highly analytical. You use data to make decisions and are comfortable gathering it yourself or working with others to gather it. You're results oriented. You can cut to the core of a problem, identify what needs to be done and when, and work with the teams to get solutions shipped. You have a Bachelors degree in a technical field (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred).
