Summer 2019 Intern - Product Manager (Security)

Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple teams to drive the delivery of initiatives related to infrastructure and product security.

  • Work closely with stakeholders, managers, program managers, and engineers in the Security organization.

  • Translate business requirements into tactical plans, lead and successfully execute the plan through strong collaboration and leadership.

  • Provide visibility to the status of projects (key decisions, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) on an ongoing basis


 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled in sophomore year or higher at a college/university or any year at a graduate school.

  • Working towards a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, Business/Management Information Systems or related degree

  • Working knowledge of any combination of software, database, web, or systems and network technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.

  • Focus on quality and details.

  • A team player.

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior leaders and technical and non-technical team members alike.

  • Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple technical functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, software engineering and customer support.

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Be a self-starter and possess a strong sense of self-motivation


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Agile environment or knowledge of Agile principles

  • Completion of an introductory Project Management class.

  • Completion of an introductory Marketing class which included Product Management.

  • Knowledge of Security best practices

  • Prior work in Threat Intelligence, Malware detection, or Security Operations Automation
