Job description This is the team that made the initial business case for applying a SaaS business model to our creative products – a move that has been credited with driving Adobe’s record high stock price. We’re a high visibility group responsible for making strategic recommendations that have a significant financial impact. As such, the right candidate will find an outstanding opportunity to grow and develop in this role. What You’ll Do Our team designs, innovates, and optimizes business models and pricing for Adobe’s products and services. We are responsible for generating revenue growth by: Exploring new business models (e.g. SaaS vs. Perpetual) Optimizing the Product Line (e.g., What should be included in the Creative Cloud product line?) Improving market segmentation (e.g., designing programs and pricing for unique markets like Education) Optimizing customer acquisition and retention levers Examples Of Past Intern Projects Include Designing market research which led to the introduction of the Photography plan (Photoshop and Lightroom at the unprecedented low price of just $9.99/month). Exploring the dynamics of pricing in app stores and proposing a business model strategy for this growing distribution channel. Evaluating the LTV of individuals who are introduced to Adobe via high school or college programs. Building a business case for launching a new business model in an adjacent market. What You'll Need To Succeed We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented individual − a strategic thinker with outstanding analytical skills, executive presence, and leadership potential. Most successful candidates will have 2-5 years of related experience, ideally including strategy consulting and/or business analysis for a Fortune 500 company. And, they are generalists with skills in a variety of disciplines such as strategy, marketing, pricing, and finance. A proven ability to quickly frame issues and draft executive level business cases is key. Adobe is a highly matrixed organization, and this team interacts with a wide range of business partners from analysts to EVPs, so poise, leadership ability, and solid influencing skills are essential. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. Substantial experience in financial modeling and complex data analysis is desirable as is experience with data science, market research, web analytics, etc. Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
